BHC Insurance Consultant Earns Chartered Healthcare Consultant Designation

BHC is proud to announce John Paul Jamison has earned the professional designation of Chartered Healthcare Consultant(r) (ChHC(r)) through American College, Bryn Mawr, PA.

The curriculum provides insurance professionals with an in-depth understanding of the latest reforms in healthcare mandated by recent legislation. A Chartered Healthcare Consultant(r) can provide expert advice on a broad range of health insurance related topics including state exchanges, medical loss rations, Early Retiree Reinsurance Programs (ERRP’s), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs), Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), Cafeteria Plans and more.

The ChHC(r) program is considered the most comprehensive credential available for benefits specialist, healthcare consultants, and financial advisors interested in effectively providing clients with cutting-edge information. Candidates must fulfill stringent ethics and experience requirements. Candidates must also complete a minimum of four courses and eight hours of proctored examinations.

John Paul has worked at BHC Insurance for 16 years and specializes in group benefits including fully insured and self-funded plans. John Paul and his family live in Fort Smith where is active with First Tee and serves as a mentor for Chaffin Jr. High’s Mentor Program. John Paul holds a BSBA in Finance and Insurance from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
